Cayman Hospital to Teach

The Health Services Authority (HSA) began laying the groundwork to become a teaching hospital when it reached an agreement with St Matthew’s University School of Medicine to work together on medical research, training and education. Journalists got a rare chance to see what goes on behind the scene at a motor vehicle accident investigation, when members of the media were invited to observe the Traffic Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team at work at the scene of 31 March’s fatal accident at the Pinnacle on West Bay Road, on Monday 3 April. Water-vessel investigation leading to new regulations

Big truck crack down

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said drivers and owners need to shape up, after an operation targeted trucks breaking the law. Officers from Traffic Management stopped and checked 34 trucks. Two people were found to have incorrect licenses. Five trucks were carrying wet material, dripping water on the road.... read more..

Person of the Day - Cindy Oostvogels

Originally from St Thomas, Ontario, Cindy Oostvogels began working as a bartender at Lone Star Bar and Grill when she first arrived here in 1993.
