Government undecided on Dart offer

Leader of Government Business, Hon Kurt Tibbetts, has said that despite the Camana Bay-offer of land, free of cost, for a new Government building site, other options for locating the new building are still being explored. Speaking at a Media Briefing by Cabinet Members on 11 Aug. 2006, Mr Tibbetts said no decision had yet been made on where to put the second new Gov't. building.... read more..


Preserving historic buildings a top priority

The re-opening of the George Town Library this week has sparked interest in preserving historic buildings in the face of a development boom across the country. Cayman Airways tours visiting planes

Minster of Tourism, Hon Charles Clifford, recently underscored that the August 12-13 weekend-visit of Embrarer Air aircraft to Cayman was not a sign that Cayman Airways Limited was at the decision-making point with respect to new aircraft for its fleet. Murder suspect in custody

The Royal Cayman Islands (RICPS) on Saturday, 12 August arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of murder. According to the RCIPS, the arrest resulted from an incident, which took place in the early hours of Saturday morning. Postman Bob won't deliver to your home

The newly re-branded Cayman Islands Postal Service will be working to increase its competitiveness as well as increase its revenue. However there are no plans to offer home delivery any time soon, so the new mascot postman Bob will not yet become a feature of the local neighbourhood in person.
