Dimitri's death still a mystery

It is now one year and one month since the body of young, Dimitri Pappas was discovered hanging in a clothes closet in Bermuda on 20 July 2005 and the official legal inquiry to unearth the facts relating to his death - the Coroner's Inquest - has been repeatedly postponed. Litterers to be given tickets

Just like traffic tickets, law enforcement officials in the Cayman Islands could soon be dishing out tickets for littering, said MLA for George Town and Minister of Education, Hon Alden McLaughlin. Produce ban to Sister Islands may be partially lifted

Department of Agriculture (DoA) staff is discussing mechanisms that would allow members of the public to transport certain items of produce into the Sister Islands. Witnesses wanted for Brac Burglary

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, (RCIPS) said that it is appealing for witnesses following a burglary which took place at a property in Sandpiper Drive, Stake Bay, Cayman Brac, sometime between the end of July and 23 August.The offender or offenders stole a 19" Panasonic television with built in VCR, a computer hard drive and several bottles of spirits from the property.
