Following the tour on Friday, 13 November, Mr Jack lauded the staff and board for “doing a wonderful job” of preserving the historical building as well as depicting Cayman’s history through modern exhibits.
“And for kids, there are lots of interactive displays with buttons to push,” he added.
The Governor was accompanied by his wife, Mariko Jack; head of the Governor’s office, Steve Moore; Social Secretary, Jacqueline Hennings and RCIPS Auxiliary Officer, Lawrence Wood.
Escorting them through the exhibits and providing commentary were Museum Acting Director Doss Solomon, Exhibitions Manager Wray Banker and Education Coordinator, Nasaria Suckoo. |
