Published on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Email To Friend    Print Version

Gerry Halischuk speaks to the TRIPLE C School economic class.

The Cayman Head of Markets and Compliance, Gerry Halischuk, went back into a classroom early this year, but this time it was to talk to students about the history of the stock market and how it has come to be what it is today.

The students were in the economic class at Triple C School. He explained to them the types of markets that exist and the role of the Cayman Islands Stock Exhange in the Cayman Islands.

“The presentation that Mr. Halischuk gave,” said Mrs Judy Blair-Jackson, business teacher, “was very informative for me and the students. We look forward to having him back again.”
