With immediate humanitarian needs such as food and clothing addressed, attention has turned to repairing homes and restoring facilities.
In response to the ongoing restoration of electricity, Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI) is asking Cayman Brac residents who now have electricity to return borrowed generators.
The generators should be brought back to the Recovery Command Centre on Cayman Brac, located within the Bodden & Bodden offices. An HMCI press release said that generators would not be collected, and Brac residents should call 925-6262 for more information. |
