Prep Netball Team beat Cayman Brac Netball team 33-9 last Friday at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex Netball Courts.

In the first quarter of the game Cayman Brac scored 2, while Cayman Prep scored 5.

In the second quarter Cayman Brac added 4 taking their total to 6, while Cayman Prep added 9 goals to settle at 14.

In the third quarter Cayman Brac had another two goals to make it 8 for them, but, Cayman Prep had 10 goals to move their score to 24. In the last quarter of the game Cayman Brac added one goal while Cayman Prep had another 9.

Cayman Prep Coach, Penny McDowall said that her players complained of chilly weather but they were able to settle down and play the game well.

“The game had a slow start due to cold weather and windy conditions,” she told Cayman Net News. “Cayman Brac’s offense kicked into gear for the second quarter, but Cayman Prep’s shooting and quick playing took over in the 3rd quarter where they took over in the scoring department,” she said.

Cayman Brac Coach, Ventisha Conolly said that she had seen improvement with her players although much more needed to be done.

She told Cayman Net News that her girls were willing to cover for lost time owing to the effects of Hurricane Paloma, when they did not train.
