Cayman Brac won two of their games during the Cayman Islands Netball Association Rally held at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Grand Cayman, on Thursday, 5 March.

Cayman Brac beat Cayman Academy (who were one of the teams in the final) 5-2 and St Ignatius 4-3.

Coordinator Primary School League, Sofia Foster, described the victory as important. She said it helped in the selection of some members of the team for the national side.

Brac Coach, Ventisha Conolly, described her team’s mood as ecstatic following their first wins for the season.

“If we had been regular then our performance would have been much better,” Conolly said.

With the two recent victories, the coach said that the season ended with a high note for the Brackers.

Ms Conolly further said that two girls were selected to join the national team. Schilo Scott who is normally the Goal Attack/Shooter and Kirsten Scott Wing Defense/Attack were selected for the national team.
