Movie-goers queuing up to see the latest Harry Potter film at the Hollywood Cinema were given quite the surprise when telecommunications provider, LIME showed up last Friday with free tickets in hand.
A total of fifty tickets were handed out and movie-goers were delighted to save a few dollars.
LIME Country Manager Tony Ritch said “Lots of people were surprised when they turned up at the cinema to be told that LIME was providing them with their tickets for the movie.
This is not the first time that LIME has amazed the general public with its “Random Acts of Kindness”; we have done several of these since we launched our new brand. The public love it and they have no idea where or when we will strike. We have done things like free breakfasts; free car washes; given out grocery store vouchers and roses on Valentines Day.”
Julie Hutton explained that this was just one of LIME’s many efforts in the bid to make the Caribbean a better place. “It’s about surprising people with small gestures to show that we really care about the community. We just really want to put a smile on someone’s face.”
LIME will continue showing its customers that it cares throughout the year with a schedule of Acts of Kindness that continues to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the Caribbean and its people.
Meanwhile, LIME launched at the beginning of July, the “UR It” promotion, which gives its customers four difference ways to win - by topping up $10 or more, texting the word “UP” to 5463, making a call on their prepaid mobile that lasts three minutes or longer or taking up any product or service in LIME’s portfolio.
With the promotion running over a two-month period, hundreds of customers are expected to win from a prize pool totalling $45,000. Customers may win multiple times, via any of the qualifying methods.
While customers can win prizes in the weekly draws, there are also lots of instant prizes to be won like baby tees, sports towels, folding chairs, T-shirts, backpacks and more.
