Allow me a space in your paper to say the following:
1) I am still expecting a response/s to the very important questions that I asked in your publication on February 27, 2006, in relation to Rev. Randolph Turner’s well written letter published February 3, 2006.
2) You see sir, if we keep brushing off what in other people’s mind might be an unimportant issue, then, it is no wonder that the church is often accused of double standards. Hence, on par with dishonest politicians.
3) I spoke of a Cayman visa waiver for a top United Church official in Jamaica, etcetera. etcetera. I now go a step further to say the name of the official, and occasion: Rev. Dr. Maitland Evans on the occasion of ITLD’s graduation back in November 2005.
4) I imagine that this might put the goodly Rev. on the spot, given his position on the board of that institution, but it need not be so if we are honest and setting a Christian example (including what we say and do).
Thanking you sir in advance, for your kind assistance.
