LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Don’t risk the life of your family

Tuesday, March 28, 2006

Dear Sir:

Danny, you seem to know a lot about Jehovah’s Witnesses! I wish you had been around 30 some years ago when I first got brainwashed by this group. Praise God, I got free of them in 1989. But I paid a price — my Jehovah’s Witness wife divorced me and took my children from my home.

All because I could not sign a “no blood transfusion” card. I was willing to sign for a blood transfusion to save the life of my children — my wife would not and would obey the rules of the Watchtower Society and let them die!

At one time Jehovah’s Witnesses were not allowed to have an organ transplant, either. About 1980 they changed their belief on organ transplants, but this did not help the many Jehovah’s witnesses who died because they refused, for example, a kidney transplant.

The watchtower leaders in New York USA never said we’re sorry either! Don’t risk the life of your family by joining Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mark Smith
