Heritage House Happenings

The Foots Easter Exhibit, runs until 25 April. The Heritage House is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, closed Sundays. Learn the Caymanian tradition of Thatch Art with Annalee Ebanks. Contact Ms Ebanks at 948-1326 or the Heritage House for more information.

Fishing Tournaments

Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament takes place 27 - 30 April. For more info contact Heather 916-3574/Donna 916-0179. Brac Jackpot Fishing Tournament 12 - 14 May. Contact Kenny Ryan 948-2222.

Swim Meet

The George Anderson annual Swim Meet, sponsored by The Lions Club of Grand Cayman and assisted by the Lions Club of Cayman Brac, will be held on 6 May commencing at 9:00 am at the Government Pool. 

Miss Teen Cayman Brac

The Committee for the Lions Club of Cayman Brac Miss teen contest is organizing a “Meet and Greet” fashion show, hosted at the Brac Reef Beach Resort (BRBR) on Monday, 1 May, at 7:00 pm, at the BRBR Dock. The Miss Teen CB competition will take place at the Aston Rutty Civic Centre on 6 May at 7:00 pm.

National Parenting Program (NPP)

36 Hours video available in Sister Islands

Available at the Cayman Brac Museum for CI$27.50, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the National Recovery Fund to assist with ongoing recovery efforts. Newly released feature length DVD, “36-Hours”, which documents Hurricane Ivan and its effect on the citizens of the Cayman Islands, with never-before-seen special features and a message by the Hon. Kurt Tibbetts.

The Cayman Brac Humane Society’s cookbook is on sale at the NIM things, Treasure Chest, Kwik Serve, Coconuts Boutique, Brac Distributors, Suds, Polly’s Landing, Dr Waite’s Optical, Shorty’s Bar and the Market Place.
