LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Surprised by the number of bugs

Tuesday, May 9, 2006

Dear Sir:

Hurrah! (“MRCU plane takes to skies at last”). We have recently visited Grand Cayman — our 13th visit to the Island; this trip we were surprised by the number of biting bugs — quite unusual, and something we have not encountered on previous visits.

We are glad to read that the mosquitoes are soon to be better controlled, and hope our next visit will be “bite-free”.

Please do tell — does the spraying also include the Sister Islands? We are visiting the Brac in November/December and hope that the control programme extends there as well.
