First Assembly Tea Party and Mother’s Day Service
The First Assembly of God Church invites everyone to its Mother’s Day Tea Party on Saturday 13 May at 4:30 pm in the Church Car Park. Adults $10; Children $5:00. There will also be a special Mother’s Day Service on Sunday 14 May at 10:00 am with Host Pastor Rev. Torrance Bobb, in honour of all mothers. Reading Aloud Session
The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman in association with Hobbies & Books is organizing Reading Aloud sessions on the following Saturdays: 13, 20 and 27 May. 4 -6 years old - 2:00 pm till 2:30 pm; 7-8 years old – 2:30 – 3:00 pm, at Books by the Bay (Hobbies & Books) in Grand Harbour. West Bay Road closure
The RCIPS wishes to advise the public that a main section of the West Bay Road, that is, from the Galleria loop roundabout into George Town, will be closed to traffic on Saturday 13 May to accommodate the adult Batabano parade. The road will close at 2:00 pm and will remain closed until 6:00 pm.
Deals on Wheels

Art Exhibition and Sale
Two internationally recognized local artists are exhibiting their paintings at “The Gallery” at the Ritz-Carlton Resort. The show features work by April Bending, Avril Ward and their joint painting persona Shi-gatsu. The exhibition, called “Cayman on Canvas”, continues until 15 May.

British Comedy presentation

UCCI Library
The UCCI Library is open Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 7:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and are closed on weekends. Persons of the community who are interested can become members of the library. There is an application fee of $25 for non-students. For persons who wish to borrow books there is a refundable deposit of $100. Persons are welcome to come and just sit down and read if they prefer to.
