Complaints Commissioner
A representative from the Office of the Complaints Commissioner (OCC) will be at Brac House, Cotton Tree Bay, in Cayman Brac for their monthly visit on Friday, 16 June. Any persons wishing to meet with the Analyst are asked to make appointments by calling their office in Grand Cayman 943-2220.  The OCC is an independent office which was established in 2004 to investigate in a fair and independent manner written complaints against government departments to ascertain whether injustice has been caused by improper, unreasonable or inadequate administrative conduct.

Heritage House Happenings
The Cayman Brac High School Years 7 - 11 Art Department's display will continue through the week of  13 -17.  The Heritage House is open Monday through Saturday10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, closed Sundays.

Graduations

Cayman Brac High School Graduation will be held on 24 June at the Aston Rutty Civic Centre. Creek and Spot Bay Junior School's Graduation will take place on 26 June at the Civic Centre at 7:00 pm. West End Primary School's Graduation will be held on 1 July at the Civic Centre at 7:00 pm. 

School Fair
West End Primary School's Family Fun Day takes place on Monday 3 July on the school grounds, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Cook-off
The Sister Islands Tourism Association Little Cayman Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, 1 July, at Southern Cross Club. Tasting starts at 6:30 pm.

Raft Race
Kon-Tiki Raft Race at Little Cayman, Sunday 2 July.

Marine Conservation Board
Residents who do not possess Caymanian Status, or who are on work permit, are reminded that a license is required if they wish to fish from shore for consumption. 'Catch and Release' sport fishing for game fish such as Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, etc. does not require a license.  The general public is also reminded that the taking of any marine species of fish less than 8 inches in length is illegal anywhere and by any means in Cayman waters.  This does not apply to 'baitfish species' such as 'Fry', 'Anchovy', 'Sprat', or 'Goggle Eye'.

June Sports
Volleyball: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, ages 12 and up. Netball: Mondays and Tuesdays 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, ages 11 and up. Softball: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm, ages 11 and up. Football: U-14/U-17 program, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 5:30 - 7:00pm. Football program closes on 9 June.
