Two arrested following bar-brawl

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, RCIPS said that officers had arrested two people last Wednesday night, 14 June following a disturbance at Welly's Cool Spot on North Sound Road, George Town.

The 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a report of a fight in progress at around 11:45 pm.

Officers attended and following investigations arrested a 33-year-old Jamaican woman and a 32-year-old Caymanian man on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and disorderly conduct. Both received treatment for minor injuries.

The RCIPS is asking anyone who witnessed the incident ior who has information to contact George Town Police Station on 949-4222.

They can also call Crime Stoppers on 800 TIPS. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and could be entitled to a cash reward should their information lead to an arrest.
