The dms Organization joined forces with the National Trust, on Friday 16 June, to clean Barkers Beach in West Bay, with the aim of restoring the beach to its natural beauty.
Volunteers were all armed with gloves and black plastic bin liners from the dms van.
Don Seymour, President of dms Organisation Ltd said he was pleased that dms Organisation is getting involved in assisting the National Trust in beautifying a small part of Grand Cayman's natural environment.
"I feel it is essential that local businesses and the community take responsibility for what we have and help preserve Cayman's assets for the future," he added.
Cindy Adam, Education and Development Specialist for the National Trust offered thanks to dms for their support in helping to clean up the area.
"We would like to thank dms and any other volunteers for devoting some of their time to help tidy up one of Cayman's beaches," she said.
"The National Trust relies on this type of support to make our mission become a reality."
The National Trust for the Cayman Islands is a non-profit, statutory body with the mission:
"To preserve natural environments and places of historic significance in the Cayman Islands for present and future generations."
