Friday, June 23, 2006

Kirk Rowe Choreographer
with the National Dance
Company, Dance Unlimited.

'Rhythms Within' is the name of a new dance show put on by the National Dance Company Dance Unlimited.

The show is on during two weekends beginning on Friday 23 June at 8 pm; Saturday 24 June at 8 pm; and Sunday 25 June at 6:00 pm, at the Mary Miller Hall in George Town.

"Rhythms Within is a spectacular, energetic, and technically professional show. We will be showing all kinds of dance: Modern; Salsa; Reggae; Jazz and even African dance," said Kirk Rowe the man behind the show.

"I am very proud and very excited about this show. People might have seen Dance Unlimited before, but now I really believe we have moved contemporary dance in Cayman to a higher level."

Mr Rowe explained that the performances will offer something new to local audiences.
"This show is different; the dances show a depth of emotion. I have really been moved by the kids' energy, motivation and enthusiasm to learn and to perform," he added.

"I believe that all people, even if they've never seen dance before, should come to the show. The dances will be filled with excitement and passion."
