Brac Family & Youth Presentations
The public is invited to a Cayman Brac Parenting Programme meeting on Tuesday 27 June at 7:00 pm at the Cayman Brac High School Hall. Scavenger Hunt
The Cayman Islands Student Association's annual scavenger hunt will commence on Saturday 1 July at the West Bay Public Beach, with registration taking place from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The hunt starts at 11:00 am with the distribution of clues. Question/inquiries can be sent to

Appreciation Ceremony
The Cayman Area Council of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands & the International University of the Caribbean (ITLD) will be having an Appreciation Ceremony for Rev Dr PJ Lawrence and Mrs Lawrence and the re-dedication of the Prospect Chapel on Saturday 1 July at 5:30 pm at the Prospect Youth Centre, 294 Prospect Point Road. ITLD Courses

Annual Celebration Service
The Church of God Chapel on Town Hall Road, West Bay will hold its annual Celebration Service in honour of the Constitution on Sunday 2 July at 10:30 am. The Scouts and Cadet Corps will be in attendance and will do a march past after the service. Everyone is invited to attend.

Annual Fair
The Gun Bay United Church cordially invites everyone to its Annual Fair on Monday 3 July starting at 11:00 am. On sale will be Caymanian home-style dinners with all the trimmings, heavy and light cakes etc. All are invited to participate.

Upward Basketball Camp
There will be an Upward Basketball Camp at the First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman from Tuesday 4 July to Saturday 8 July from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Saturday Games from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. New Testament Church of God's Annual Convention

Grace Tabernacle's Youth Ministry Concert
Grace Tabernacle's Youth Ministry will host a Concert on Friday 30 June at #8 Alexander Place, Dorcey Drive, Industrial Park at 7:00 pm. Adults - $5 and children pay $3 at the door. Keesa Peart and other local artistes will perform. Refreshments will be on sale.

Disaster Preparedness activities offered for campers
Summer camp organisers island-wide are asked to incorporate free disaster-preparedness materials into their activities, with help from the Cayman Islands Red Cross and Government Information Services (GIS). Camp organisers who want to include disaster disaster-preparedness materials in their activities are asked to contact GIS Information Officer Kenisha Morgan at 244-1773 by Friday 30 June.

Barbeque Fun Evening at St. George's Anglican

Concert for Nina
A Benefit concert for Nina Orrett entitled "Lean on Me" will be held on Saturday 8 July at the Lion's Centre at 6.30 pm. This is in aid of raising funds for Nina who has been hospitalised. McCoy Prize Art Exhibition 2006
The McCoy Prize art exhibition has begun, and will remain open to the public until Friday 28 July. Viewing times will be 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Liquor License Reminder
The Liquor Licensing Board of Grand Cayman is reminding all holders of liquor licenses and music and dancing licenses that the deadline for renewal is Friday 4 August. However premises are required to be inspected by the Fire, Planning and Environmental Health departments before the 4 August deadline. Department of Agriculture Notice
In the light of the ongoing extremely heavy rainfall and localized flooding, the Department of Agriculture's Animal Welfare Unit wishes to remind all livestock and pet owners to check on their animals ensuring that they are in a safe, sheltered location and not in danger from potential flooding.

Art Sisters
The National Gallery's Dart Foundation-sponsored Art Sisters uses art as a method of healing for female victims subjected to any kind of abuse.  Through artistic expression, women can find inner peace and strength. Would like to inform the public that their Pink Hibiscus Coffee Shop located at George Town Hospital has been relocated within the Hospital. National Museum's Gift Shop
The National Museum's Gift Shop has returned to its regular days of opening, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. All proceeds go to the Museum's Recovery Fund.

Art Volunteers Needed at National Gallery
Assistants are needed, especially on weekdays, to volunteer for the many programmes and events offered by the National Gallery and the Gallery's new Educational Centre. Residents with free time, and an interest in creative arts, are encouraged to become volunteers. In addition to shaping young minds, other benefits of volunteerism include use of the Gallery's studio and locker space for art supplies. School Speed Zones
Newly installed school speed zone warning signs have been activated at the Red Bay Primary and Savannah Primary schools. Motorists are asked to take note of this. Police presence will be on both sites during the relevant times to ensure that the public adheres to new zones.

Conch and Lobster Seasons & Fishing License Reminders
The Department of Environment and Marine Conservation Board wishes to remind the public that a fishing license is required for work permit holders who wish to fish from shore for consumption. Applications for annual or monthly fishing licences can be obtained from the DoE's office on North Sound Road. The DoE would also like to remind the public of the parameters for the lobster season which is now closed until 30 November 2006 and the conch season, which will close on 1 May through to 31 October 2006.
