A number of  young professionals are taking another step in their professional development by enrolling in the Certified Business Professional Program on "Leadership and Customer Service" offered by Softech Computers, Limited as a part of an ongoing education and training plan.

The Certified Business Professional Program is an international credential that validates and develops professionals by establishing a foundation-level, industry neutral certification, enabling employers and candidates to have a platform for development not only of job-related but also of important life skills that transcend the work environment into many aspects of living.

The programme was developed by industry-wide and cross- platform job tasks analysis and consultation with key industry representatives to ensure effectiveness and applicability.

The workshops, lectures and hands-on sessions provide the training and learning environment to maximize the candidate's potential.

This ensures that the candidate is exposed to functional business tasks and gains practical exposure to the work environment.

The effectiveness and value of this program is attested to by student comments.

"I learnt the importance of Listening, Consulting and Communicating not only with the public but with my co-workers," said one student on the course.

Another noted that the course taught students how to develop strategies to meet their organizations' goals.

"I learnt the importance of practicing effective Customer Service and how to motivate and encourage myself and my fellow staff members," said the student.
