As one of the first graduates with a bachelors degree in Economics from the UCCI, Erica Bush is keenly aware that it is important to be able to analyse the economy.

"Cayman needs professionals in Economics to predict what the true picture of the economy will be in the next 20 to 30 years," said Ms Bush.

As the valedictorian at this year's graduation, Ms Bush felt the need to encourage others to pursue their education to further their career.

"Education is an important key to a successful career," she added.

Currently, Ms Bush works as a junior accountant at Walkers and is considering pursuing a Masters in Business Administration overseas.
