Driving into Cayman Pet Paradise - greeted by the beautiful lawns and plants - it seems like the ideal haven for human relaxation. However, the locale is "an oasis" designed for pets.

The garden setting, the blue, red and white buildings, as well as the absence of the city-sounds of traffic, all help to make the surroundings suitably described as a paradise.

Located on the Cheval Ranch in Savannah Newlands, Pet Paradise is a thriving six-year old operation, delivering a high-quality product - kennels are odourless and are washed everyday; and pebble stones cobble the canine's play areas.

You'll see Papilions, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Hounds, Spaniels, Retrievers and others.

And Ms Baxter, at 4' 7" tall and 65 pounds keeps her 105 lb house pet, Paris - a Doberman - on the leash with no trouble and, there are dogs weighing more.
