Rain spoils first evening of PABL basketball

Zulus and Boknology fight for control.

The first full evening's play in the Digicel-Filipino basketball league got off to an exciting start as Antipolo Zulus took on Tonys Toys/ Papa Johns Boknology. After non-stop action throughout all four quarters Zulus took the win by one point 76-75.

The action continued as World Gym gained a slim lead over Wendy's before torrential rain stopped play with just 39 seconds left in the final quarter leaving the score 70-65.

The action continues from 6:15pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. With the rainy season upon us there may be some re-scheduling of games.
