A third-year college student at USC in Los Angeles, California, Erin Stoner spends her summer holidays working at the Sunshine Suites Bar & Grill.
Since June she has been enjoying the work and the atmosphere and said it is, "a valuable life skill" and a "good experience to have overall."
"It's actually very interesting working in the service industry here, especially at a hotel, as you meet so many people from all over, all with different stories and backgrounds," she said.
Ms Stoner was born and raised in Hong Kong but her family has been living in the Cayman Islands for many years.
She loves sports, particularly rugby, which she has played for almost seven years, two of which for the Hong Kong U-19 Women's 7's team.
