As the secretary to the Dean of St Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine, Theresa Hydes gets to indulge her love of animals.
"I really like the people I work with and I love animals, so I get a lot of opportunities to see different animals on the Island," said Ms Hydes.
About two years ago, she happened to walk into a pet shop just to look around and came out with her guinea pig which says is adorable. She just recently got an aquarium with two fighting fish.
"They have their own personalities and they are pretty feisty. Which makes it difficult to clean the aquarium but they are great," she said.
