Errol Kellyman ,CEO, AVCOM (left) and Clement Reid, Deputy Director of the Port Authority shake hands after a job well done.
Aviation Communications Ltd (AVCOM) has just completed the installation of a 150' antenna mast on the waterfront for the Port Authority.
Designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 miles per hour, this tower will serve to boost the Port Authority Marine Remote Radio System and provide infrastructure facilities for telecommunication providers.
AVCOM is in the process of installing two more antenna masts of similar specifications in the Red Bay and West Bay areas within the next few months.
These will help improve infrastructure capabilities for telecoms providers and radio stations who wish to lease space for transmitters and other remote communications equipment.
