Friday, December 15, 2006

Digicel’s Senior Marketing Executive Gemma Mclaughlin presents a portable DVD player to lucky winner Jeromie Dias.

A number of Digicel customers have, the phone company said, already walked away with prizes in its Christmas promotion.

Seven winners have received portable DVD players, DVDs and Camcorders after shopping in Digicel stores.

Each customer received a FREE DVD player and a scratch card to try their luck at becoming the winner of portable DVD players, camcorders, DVDs and a deluxe home theatre center featuring a 52” flat screen TV.

The “You are Number 1 with Digicel this Christmas” theme gives customers star treatment by offering a free DVD player with the purchase of any handset, the company said.

Plus, with any phone purchase, customers also receive a scratch card for a chance to win a fantastic assortment of prizes.

Digicel is also giving away free talk time this Christmas. Every purchase of a phone on prepaid service gets the customer $65 free credit which will be applied over 12 months.

Digicel said it will also be giving customers a free phone with post-paid sign up.

When customers sign up for any postpaid package they will receive a FREE Samsung E350, Sony Ericsson Z520 or a Motorola V555 PLUS a Free DVD Player.

“Digicel encourages everyone to come out to the Digicel stores and take advantage of the fantastic phone specials on offer this Christmas season.  Not only do we have an extensive selection of new phones to satisfy the taste of our customers with the free gift of a DVD player on purchase, but we are also offering free talk time and unbeatable holiday international rates.  We are inviting consumers to be number one with Digicel this Christmas season,” said Digicel Head of Marketing Tina Trumbach.

The Christmas promotions last through 31 December  or while stocks last.
