Radio conglomerate dms Broadcasting Ltd has invited key pacesetters in the automotive industry to take part in the 2007 Cayman Islands Auto Show later this month.
The company owns four radio stations 96.5 CayRock, Hot 104.1 FM, 106.1 Kiss FM and X107.1.
World-famous professional drag racer Christian Rado plus the editors of two top automotive magazines - Colum Wood (Editor-In-Chief) of Modified Luxury & Exotics and Peter Tarach (East Coast Editor) of Modified Mag, – and Stew Lawson, Marketplace Account Manager for both magazines will be judging the Cayman Islands 2007 Auto Show competition.
The competition will include categories in Sport, Luxury, Classic, SUV/Truck and Motor Bike as well as a Sound Off and In Car Entertainment challenge.
Both magazines will also be producing a special insert feature on the Cayman Islands, the 2007 Auto Show, and the sponsors involved.
Christian Rado, a professional drag racer since 1999, has achieved six event victories in the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) and NDRA (NOPI Drag Racing Association) drag racing series since 2001. He is the youth car culture and drag programme spokesperson for Scion and a trendsetter in the industry. Chris has also hosted multiple MTV car specials, including the MTV hit: “Life in the Fast Lane,” a documentation of his active lifestyle and professional driving.
Modified Luxury & Exotics and Modified Mag are two leading automotive magazines in the US, targeting the high-end performance enthusiast market.

dms Broadcasting, will be hosting the show on January 27 at the Lions Centre (and January 26 for VIP night).
