The Seventh Annual Digicel Spring Mixed (s Tournament provided a full day of sporting entertainment last weekend.
With play starting at 10:oo am and the final taking place as the sun was setting, the day was arguably one of the great sporting and social events of the year.
When it came down to the final game, UBS and Fortis Fianna had just 20 minutes to decide who would come out on top.
With just 20 seconds of play left, the score was 10-9 to Fortis.
With master of ceremonies Howard Byrne playing David Bowie's "Under Pressure". Paul Foxton made one attempt to keep the game going. But, at the finalwhistle, Fortis took the winners' spoils.
Sponsor Digicel had also been in the thivk of the action, their team making the semi-finals.
