The John Gray High School Staff Concert
Takes place on Saturday 21 April at 7:00 pm in the Assembly Hall at John Gray.  Come out and see your teachers perform.  Tickets - $5 students and $10 for adults.

Service to mark Commonwealth Day
All residents, especially those from other Commonwealth countries, are invited to the annual service in observance of Commonwealth Day on Sunday 11 March at 4:00 pm. at St George’s Anglican Church, Courts Road, off Eastern Avenue. The ceremony is organised by St George’s and the Honorary Representative of the Royal Commonwealth Society in the Cayman Islands Charles Quin, QC, under the theme: ‘Respecting Difference, Promoting Understanding’. Cayman Islands Diabetes Association Meeting
The CI Diabetes Association invites the public to attend the next monthly meeting on Wednesday 7 March at 6:00 pm at the Public Health/Women’s Health section of the George Town Hospital. Youth Explosion at First Assembly of God
The First Assembly of God Church invites all the youth on the Island to a Youth Explosion on Saturday 10 March at 6:00 pm at the Church’s car park on Old Crewe Road. CI Humane Society Annual Fundraising Dinner
The Cayman Islands Humane Society Annual Fundraising Dinner & Auction will be held on Friday 16 March 2007 at the Marriott Beach Resort starting from 7:00 pm. “arreckly” Exhibition at National Gallery
“arreckly”, curated by David Bridgeman, continues through 23 March. This exhibition by a group of artists resident in the Cayman Islands portrays how artists living and working in Cayman feel right now, “arreckly”, about Cayman’s search to find its own cultural identity. All are invited to view the exhibition at the National Gallery, Harbour Place, from Monday – Friday, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Fish Fry
The St Ignatius Catholic Church will have a Fish Fry every Friday evening during Lent at the St Ignatius Catholic School Cafeteria on the following Fridays in March -  9, 16, 23 and 30, as well as 6 April. Time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost is $10 per meal and proceeds will go towards World Youth Day, Sydney Australia in 2008.

Cayfest 2007 19-29 April
Registration forms for the Cayfest Photography Competition are available at Cayman Camera, Island Photo, Photo Plus, Picture This, Rapid Photo and The Camera Store. Deadline for registration is 22 March. The deadline for registration for the Cayfest Literary Competition is 29 March and registration forms are available at both Hobbies and Books stores, The Piccadilly Bookshop and Books By The Bay. Registration forms for the Cayfest Art Exhibition and Sale are available at The Nation Gallery and deadline for registration is 29 March 2007. All registration forms are also available at the Cayman Islands National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) office, 3rd Floor Elizabethan Square or the CNCF website at www.artscayman.org/cayfest.

Lunchtime Lectures
Intelligent walk-through lectures revolve around the current show, but are always different in content, and are led by Sorbonne graduate Emerentienne Paschalides. Complimentary sandwiches and drinks provided.  They are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 12:15 pm at the National Gallery Harbour Place. RCIPS – Collection of Fees
The Licensing Department will no longer be collecting fees in regards to Firearm Permits or Police Reports. All fees will now be collected at the Criminal Records Office located at GT Police Station between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Post Office requesting pick up of mail
The Cayman Islands Postal Service is requesting that post box renters clear their boxes on a daily basis. Remember, post offices are open on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm on Grand Cayman. Please note that Customs is closed at 12 noon on Saturdays. Cayman Brac’s Saturday post office hours are 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and Little Cayman’s are 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps
Would like to inform the public that their Pink Hibiscus Coffee Shop located at George Town Hospital has been relocated within the Hospital. It is open five and a half days a week and situated in the old X-Ray Department opposite the Mental Health Department just along from the Women’s Centre. Art Magnet
Are you middle-school aged, love art, and feeling lonely, or in trouble?  The National Gallery’s State Street-sponsored Art Magnet is a FREE programme for middle-school aged, children who love art and are between ages 10-12. The Health Services Authority (HSA)

Breastfeeding Clinic at Health Services Authority

Red Cross Thrift Shop
