Eucharistic Service
The Catholic Chapel on Cayman Brac in Stake Bay, next to the Museum, will hold a Eucharistic Service every Sunday at 11:00 am. For details please contact Barb at 948-0551 or Tania at 948-2616.

Palm Sunday Service
St Alban’s Anglican Church will celebrate the Holy Eucharist with Procession of Palms on Palm Sunday 1st April at 9:00 am at St Alban’s Church, 461 Shedden Road, George Town. Holy Communion will be held in the Church in Holy Week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:30 pm.

Registration at UCCI
Registration for the Summer Semester 2007 is now open at the University College of the Cayman Islands. Classes begin on Monday 7 May. Students are welcome to register for all programmes and courses including the Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, Professional Development and Continuing Education. Children & Youth Easter Program at Frank Sound Church
Frank Sound Church of God is doing an Easter program for the night of 1 April from 7:00 pm and all are invited to come and hear our Children and Youth as they share about the love of Christ during the Easter Season. Leading Edge High School Parent Meeting

National Gallery’s CineClub
There is a new, expanded viewing space for foreign and art-film lovers, who want a cinema experience of movies from around the world outside of the mainstream movies.  CineClub is held at the National Gallery, ground floor at Harbour Place every second Monday starting at 6:00 p.m.  Bring a cushion and blanket. National Gallery’s Scrapbooking Club

Easter Convention
The Wesleyan Holiness Church in West Bay invites members of the public to their Easter Convention from 1 April to 8 April. On Monday 2 April to Thursday 5 April services will be at 7:30 pm. On Good Friday, 6 April services will be at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm. There will also be two services on Easter Sunday, the first at 10:30 am and the second at 6:00 pm. On Wednesday 4 April will be a special Easter Cantata entitled ‘The Christ, The Cross, The Crown’. Easter Cantata ‘Amazing Grace’
Members of the public are invited to attend an Easter Cantata entitled ‘Amazing Grace’ on Friday 6 April. The Cantata will start at 7:30 pm and will be held at the Elmslie Memorial United Church. For more information call 949-7923.

Construction Zone
National Roads Authority (NRA) officials advise that the East-West Arterial (running from Hirst Road to Shamrock Road) is a construction zone and motorists should refrain from using it until it is completed later this year.
Officials from the NRA said that motorists who use the incomplete highway are risking their own safety, that of their passengers and those around them. The NRA strongly urges motorists to desist from driving on the East-West Arterial while it is under construction. NRA officials also noted that as with the extension of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway currently there are no safety control measures on the East-West Arterial.

The Mr Vegas Concert
The Mr Vegas Concert will be held on 30 March at the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal in George Town. The concert, which is organized by Young Blood Productions, will start at 9:00 pm and will feature Natural Black, Notch, Local Motion 345 and Big J. Tickets cost $20 pre-sold, $25 at the gate or $50 for VIP. For more information call 322-1762.

FGBMFI Breakfast Meeting

Fish Fry
The St Ignatius Catholic Church will have a Fish Fry every Friday evening during Lent at the St Ignatius Catholic School Cafeteria on the following Fridays in March - 30, as well as Friday 6 April. Time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost is $10 per meal and proceeds will go towards World Youth Day, Sydney Australia in 2008.

Tea & Fashion Show

History and Hidden Heritage tour
Join the National Trust on Saturday 31 March for a bus tour showcasing Cayman’s heritage starting at their new location on South Church Street. The tour starts at 9:30 am and will continue to Watler’s Cemetery, the Mission House and Lighthouse Park. After a stop for a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue to the Wreck of the Ten Sails Park and back to George Town. Lunchtime Lectures
Intelligent walk-through lectures revolve around the current show, but are always different in content, and are led by Sorbonne graduate Emerentienne Paschalides. Complimentary sandwiches and drinks provided.  They are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 12:15 pm at the National Gallery Harbour Place. Mass at Catholic Chapel in Cayman Brac

RCIPS – Collection of Fees
The Licensing Department will no longer be collecting fees in regards to Firearm Permits or Police Reports. All fees will now be collected at the Criminal Records Office located at GT Police Station between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Give Blood

Cayman Wildlife Rescue Volunteer Monthly Meeting

Post Office requesting pick up of mail   
The Cayman Islands Postal Service is requesting that post box renters clear their boxes on a daily basis. Remember, post offices are open on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm on Grand Cayman. Please note that Customs is closed at 12 noon on Saturdays. Cayman Brac’s Saturday post office hours are 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and Little Cayman’s are 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps
Would like to inform the public that their Pink Hibiscus Coffee Shop located at George Town Hospital has been relocated within the Hospital. It is open five and a half days a week and situated in the old X-Ray Department opposite the Mental Health Department just along from the Women’s Centre. Art Magnet
Are you middle-school aged, love art, and feeling lonely, or in trouble?  The National Gallery’s State Street-sponsored Art Magnet is a FREE programme for middle-school aged, children who love art and are between ages 10-12. Art Magnet takes place every Wednesday from 5:15-7:15 pm at the National Gallery Education Centre, Bay Town Plaza, West Bay Road.
