Hauntedville winner pockets $2,200

Published on Thursday, November 5, 2009Email To Friend    Print Version

Cayman residents don their most impressive Halloween costumes and party the night away at Hauntedville, Margaritaville.

Transforming Margaritaville into Hauntedville for one night only, dms Broadcasting stations X107.1 and HOT 104.1 deemed their Halloween bash a raving success. Cayman residents flocked out in abundance for the party hosted on October 31st, from 8 pm onwards.

Appropriately clad for recent media attention, the big winner of the night was a Michael Jackson lookalike sporting the BAD costume from his 1987 megahit album, walking away with $2,200 KYD for best costume of the night. With just a $5 admission fee, residents were encouraged to come out in their most-impressive Halloween costume and the best costume was awarded with all the money collected at the door.

Commented X107.1 Programme Director, and MC of the night, Matt Nasby, “Always in the midst of the action, dms Broadcasting is always keen to be a part of the hottest celebration bashes. Who said Halloween was just for kids? You are never too old to get in the Halloween spirit and sport your most impressive duds – especially if you could be pocketing $2,200!”

Kicking off the night with Absolute Horror drink specials (2 for 1 Absolute drinks) to get the party started, Margaritaville was decked out in Halloween décor and the party was pumping. With all-night entertainment by Tony Chen and a guest DJ on hand, the entertainment was in full swing from the get go.

“It is always a collaborative effort, so thank you to Margaritaville for joining with us to bring the party to Cayman! Also, thank you to security for doing an awesome job to ensure a safe, fun time was had by all,” commented Phil Vinciullo, dms Broadcasting network promotions and marketing manager.
