Island Companies Ltd has announced that it will keep all of its stores open for normal hours on both public holidays 6 and 9 November, with the exception of their stores at Camana Bay that will close at 6:00 pm.

All of Island Companies George Town locations – Flagship, Island Plaza, Landmark, Duty Free Centre and Duty Free Ltd on the Waterfront – will remain open until 5:30 pm, well after the cruise ships have left. Camana Bay stores – The Mansion, De Sunglass Man and Leather By Design will remain open until 6pm. This is to allow locals a chance to get an early start on their Christmas shopping during a rare mid-week chance to shop.

Anyone who has been to an Island Companies location recently will also have seen The Big Pink Sale across many of their locations. The sale features fine and branded jewellery, watches, sunglasses and treasure coins, all marked down significantly from last year’s prices.

The sale will end on 20 November and so this public holiday is giving those who would normally be at work a chance to take advantage.
