Editorial: Olympians feted by few, but paid for by all The Caymanian Way you speak of is long gone. This is simply a reality check. Thirty years ago at a cocktail party I overheard a paper Caymanian say his vision is that “Caymanians will become an elite minority.” I didn’t object to what he said at the time because I thought he meant all of us. Now I realize he was only referring to a privileged few. Those Olympians were obviously not related to that privileged 1percent. - George Samuels
Letter: Give Cayman back to Caymanians • Ms Seger, There is such a thing called progress. We can't go on living in the past recalling how wonderful everything was in the past. They think Cayman is all about crime and drugs, and say they will not take their families for vacation here. If you could send me your e-mail address I will send some of the comments to you. - Norma Serrano
Driftwood Beauty Congratulations, Luelan, on this fabulous work of art. It must have been a real labour of love, but really worthwhile. - Avis Barlow
