CTA holds Saturday Art Classes for Kids
Cayman Traditional Arts is planning on having Saturday Art Classes at the National Trust’s Nurse Leila House to assist children in their artistic abilities starting with the basics and working their way into more advanced forms of artwork. Session 1 classes begin 4 October – 20 December and Session 2 classes begin 10 January – 28 March 2009. Two classes will be held on Saturday, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. A maximum of 10 children per class (twenty children per day) ages 5 thru 12. Morning classes 8:30 – 11:00 am; Afternoon classes: 12:30-3:00 pm.

National Gallery’s Exhibition From Within VI

Conch and Whelk Season Closes
This is a reminder that the conch and whelk-taking season has ended. Department of Environment officials accordingly remind the public that anyone found guilty of violating the law is liable to a maximum penalty of CI$500,000 and one year in jail.
