Cayman Islands' Cyclists Take to the Road

The results are in for the Cayman Cycling Association’s road race, which took place Sunday, 21 September. The two-loop road course covered 60 miles in total, with an average time expected of two hours 35 minutes, cycling at 23 miles per hour. All 26 competitors finished the race, with the top five cyclists as follows:

1st place: Michele Smith (cycled for Cayman in the 1988 Seoul Olympics)
2nd place: Dave Walker (great triathlete who took a break from cycling the last 10 months but has returned to the sport)
3rd place: Rico
4th place: Jerome Ameline
5th place: Steve Evans
