A LIME customer on Cayman Brac using one of the company’s free wireless Internet hotspots
Cayman Brac residents can get online for free at wireless Internet “hotspots” provided by LIME across the island.
The hotspots are located at LIME exchange sites and also at the Gerrard Smith International Airport.
LIME Cayman Islands Country Manager Tony Ritch said:
“We all know how vital it is in times of disaster to be able to contact our loved ones, and while many people will make a phone call, It is sometimes even more reassuring when you can send an e-mail and attach photos so that people can actually see that you are all okay.”
A press release from LIME said many customers are using these free hotspots to keep in touch with family and friends overseas, as well as for business communication.
LIME customers can also charge their mobile phones at any of the company’s exchanges. |
