IAMCO Donates to Relief Efforts

Published on Friday, November 28, 2008 Email To Friend    Print Version

The Cayman Islands National Recovery (NRF) has received a generous donation in the sum of $25,000 from IAMCO. This recent donation will be used to directly benefit the Sister Islands after the passage of Hurricane Paloma.

Since establishment in 2004, IAMCO has been working closely with the National Recovery Fund in providing materials and significant funding to Grand Cayman after the devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan.

Dr Mark Laskin, Executive Director of the National Recovery Fund, said:

“The Fund, once again, is extremely grateful to IAMCO’s continued financial support. The immediate financial support from the public and corporate firms has been outstanding, however we still have a long way to go.”

The National Recovery Fund continues to ask for monetary support from Grand Cayman. Relief accounts have been set up at Bank of Butterfield and Cayman National Bank. Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated, the NRF said.
