The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands has postponed its Sister Islands programmes.

A press release from the National Gallery said, “Due to the damage caused by the passing of Hurricane Paloma and the ongoing recovery efforts in Cayman Brac & Little Cayman, the management and staff of the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands is sad to announce the postponement of our Sister Islands programmes.”

However, the National Gallery is making an exception to hold an Art Camp geared toward people of all ages in December.

The National Gallery press release said the date and venue of the camp is yet to be decided.

Simone Scott, the National Gallery’s Cayman Brac & Little Cayman Liaison, said regular courses, lectures and workshops would resume in the New Year.

“At that time, the Gallery programmes will offer a forum for much-needed expression. We hope that everyone will take advantage of the outlet that the Gallery’s programmes offers us through the arts,” Ms Scott said.
