His Excellency the Governor Stuart Jack and his wife Mariko.

Winston Connolly became the new President of Rotary Sunrise, taking over from Woody Foster, while Christine Sanders takes over as Secretary from Deborah Ann Chambers. Dawn Cummings remains Treasurer.

The club, almost 100 strong, said it has had a very successful year. Among the club’s offerings are youth projects, notably the computer aided learning system, and reading with the youngsters to improve literacy, helping with the Meals on Wheels and financially assisting school meals.

The service club has also helped with repairs at Bonaventure Boys Home, assisted the Health Fair and helped with hurricane relief in Cayman Brac, Bodden Town, Turks and Caicos and Haiti.

Other organisations and projects that received assistance from Rotary Sunrise are the AIDS Foundation, the Crisis Centre, the Drug Court, the Humane Society, Art@Governors, Internet at the George Town Hospital, the Nana baby home and the international dental mission.
