Higgs Johnson Truman Bodden & Co has donated $850 to George Town Library’s ‘Summer Reading Programme’, which is taking place between 20 and 31 July.

The firm is committed to this important community initiative, which is being held at the recently reopened George Town Library, said a company press release.

The ‘Summer Reading Programme’ is designed to encourage local children to read during the summer holidays and the response has been excellent, with approximately 200 children attending so far.

Philip Boni and Gina M. Berry, Partners of Higgs Johnson Truman Bodden & Co joined other Summer Programme volunteers and read the children a story.

Mr Boni said, “The firm is committed to helping to make this year’s ‘Summer Reading Programme’ a success. I thoroughly enjoyed reading to the children and would encourage other adults to volunteer as it is a really worthwhile and fun experience.”
