According to Mr Cunha Cayman Islands Football Association(CIFA) has been in contact with Brazilian academies.

“When I am in Brazil, we meet a lot of former Brazilian national team and actual players and my Father Carlos Orrigo Cunha (Gaucho) is Vasco da Gama Youth Technical Director and U-20 Vasco da Gama Coach,” said Mr Cunha.

Vasco is observing David Ramsaran because the goalkeeper coach said that the kid has talent and learns fast. “Having been born in 1997 and he is training against 1996 and 1995 and he’s doing excellent, My father asked a player about David’s training and the player said that the practice game was excellent and If they don’t have David at Goal they would not have won the Practice Game, this is a Good way, because normally Vasco U-13 players develop to become professional players”. Mr Cunha said it is possible that the rising star would stay and play for Vasco 2010. “He is training with Vasco U-13 group actual U-13 National Champion, Vasco defeated Fluminense F.C. 1-nil at extra time The U-13 final game was played at Rio Bonito 1:30m from Rio de Janeiro; the stadium had more than 2.000 People watching the game and 30 minutes of fireworks when Vasco went to the field”.
