Cayman’s Kemar Hyman scooped a bronze medal recently at a track and field meet in Colombia.  Hyman did Cayman proud by winning his 100m heat 10.56. He went on to take third in the final in 10.34.

The athlete was amongst others including: Carl Morgan, Carlos Morgan, Tyrell Cuffy and Sean Troop who went to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Federacion Colombiano de Atletismo meet held in Colombia recently.

Carl Morgan took the fourth position in the long jump by leaping 7.49m while his brother took the fifth position with 7.37m.

In another heat of the men’s 100m, Sean Troop was second in 10.68. In the finals Troop took the sixth position with 10.58.

Tyrell Cuffy was fourth in the 200m in 21.10.

Speaking to Cayman Net News earlier, John-Paul Clarke said he hoped that the athletes would do well in the meet. Indeed Hyman worked hard and brought a medal home.
