Published on Friday, August 7, 2009 Email To Friend    Print Version

Raheem Robinson

A recent graduate from John Gray High School, Raheem Robinson is looking forward to pursue studies at University College of Cayman Islands.

Raheem’s dream is playing professional football. He is a self-driven young man despite his age, and is normally seen practicing on his own with minimal supervision.

According to coach Ernie “Gillie” Seymour, Raheem is a multi-talented player who has also been doing well academically.

With the help of Raheem and other players, Cayman Islands was able to scoop a silver medal in the recently held AC Milan football tournament.

In the tournament, coaches and scouts praised the work of the youngster.

Kevin Carey:
Not only is the professional ambition of this youngster exemplary, but his manners and social decorum are an appropriate replica of his mother's influence on him. I sincerely hope that the publication of this well mannered and talented young Caymanian will inspire his peers to accomplish their ambitions; and also remind him and his parents that they are blessed, and their efforts to properly raise the child were never futile. We need to continue to encourage positivity and discipline in our young people, and this feature is a very constructive and prudent contributor to civic pride. Respect to you and your parents Raheem Robinson.
