Massage Therapy now available at World Gym

Stephanie Fotes

The World Gym recently announced it is now offering massage therapy with the addition of new team member, massage therapist, Stephanie Fotes.

Ms Fotes is a Canadian Massage Therapist from Toronto, Ontario. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 1997 and from George Brown College as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1993. Stephanie then went on to massage school and graduated in the year 2000 from Sutherland Chan Teaching School & Clinic in Toronto, Ontario. This intensive 2200 hour massage therapy program included courses in anatomy, physiology, pathology, remedial exercise and more. After completion, she proceeded to pass her Ontario Board Exams.

Over the past nine years practicing in the Massage field, she has gained experience in her native Toronto by working in a chiropractic office and at reputable spas in Uptown and Downtown Toronto. She has had an opportunity to travel with her trade and has lived and worked in Vail, Colorado for five years and has currently been in Grand Cayman for almost three years. Stephanie has previously worked at Ritz Carlton Silver Rain Spa here on the island and says although she enjoyed it very much, she is now ready to take on a new adventure here at the World Gym Grand Cayman!

Ms Fotes specializes in Myofascial Release, deep tissue, sports and Swedish Massages, pregnancy massage, back and neck pain, work injuries, headaches, whiplash and stress relief.
