Caribbean Network Solutions (CNS) NS recently donated two Dell laptops to the Upper Elementary class at Montessori By The Sea. The school’s teachers say the laptops will be in regular use by students for a variety of assignments.
“We are extremely grateful to CNS for this amazing donation,” said Sarah Genereux, an Upper Elementary teacher at the Grand Cayman school. “Thanks to CNS our 4th and 5th year students will have increased access to the wealth of knowledge available online and be able to integrate the use of technology when producing their work through the use of these computers.”
Jason Eastman, a service technician at CNS, presented the laptops in person. Jason was able to meet some of the students who would be benefitting from the donation. Students commented on the convenience of having the laptops readily available as opposed to having to go to the school’s Information & Communications Technology room upstairs. One 9-year old student was very outspoken about his appreciation:
“Thank you CNS!”
Caribbean Network Solutions has been providing computer equipment and pro-active service support to Montessori By The Sea for two years. Montessori By The Sea is located on 277 Old Prospect Road. The seven-year-old school serves children from ages 21 months to twelve years of age (Toddler to Grade 6). The curriculum is based on the philosophy of education pioneer Maria Montessori who believed schools should nurture students’ natural curiosity and independence. |
