Hailing from Kenya, Africa, Helen Chemeli moved to the Cayman Islands four years ago to work for accounting firm KPMG, where she is currently an Audit Manager.

Ms Chemeli is impressed by diversity and cultural integration existing in the Cayman Islands.

“ The slow pace of life and of course the beaches are an enigma in this place,” she says.

Outside of the office, she loves watching movies and TV. She also takes time to read business magazines, travel and jet ski.

Ms Chemeli’s advice to the youth is: “always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing” (Abraham Lincoln).
