Raised on an organic Black Angus beef farm in upstate New York, USA, Nicole Mason is pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Ms Mason, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY, USA, is currently a student at St Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman.
“I feel satisfaction in knowing that there is more than one way to follow your dreams, even if it does mean extra hard work and dedication,” she says.
“Coming to the Cayman Islands has been a wonderful experience.”
Ms Mason enjoys traveling and believes that she has become more independent as a result - and is more determined to get what she wants in life.
Moving so far away from everything, including family and friends, was “extremely difficult”, but that has made her stronger, she says. |
