Person of the Day - Joan Killeen

Published on Tuesday, May 5, 2009Email To Friend    Print Version

Joan Killeen

Originally from Ireland, Joan Killeen has been living in the Cayman Islands since January 2007.

She has been working with Crusader International Management (Cayman) Ltd since arriving here and “loves pretty much everything about this island”. The best things about the island are the weather, beach and people.

Ms Killeen plays Gaelic football in her spare time and says it has offered her the opportunity to meet friends.

She enjoys traveling, music, books and being with friends. If she were to summarize her philosophy on life it would be “have fun, enjoy life and don’t take yourself too seriously”.

Her sporting role model is Gaelic football legend Lisa Heavey, who, since retiring, has dedicated her expertise to the local game as the club’s Vice-President.
