Roma win their first game

Roma player blocks a Scholars team member from reaching the ball during a recent encounter.

Roma won their first game in the CIFA Premier League 2009-2010 season last Sunday evening, defeating Future 1-0 at the Ed Bush Stadium in West Bay. Sunset drew 1-1 with defending champions Elite at this same venue.

At the TE McField Sports Centre (Annex), Scholars International continued on their winning ways beating George Town 4-1 and Bodden Town got their first win as well after getting past Tigers 3-2 in a keenly contested encounter.
